- Installed 4-foot slitter and 200MT USA-made MINSTER hi-speed precision press in Electrical Steel Division Taichung Plant.
- Installed 2MT high-frequency induction furnace in the steel-forging factory; and had thus increased production capacity to 900MT per month.
