Introduction

Chun Yuan Construction Co.,Ltd was established in 1977, and is a A-grade construction company specializing in construction and civil engineering. Chun Yuan Construction is a subsidiary reinvested by Chun Yuan Steel Co., Ltd. and its business incorporates the steel structure expertise of the parent company, Chun Yuan Steel Co., Ltd. to contract constructions of different forms and designs jointly.

Operation

The sales revenue has grown rapidly since the establishment. The paid-in capital is NT$783,890,660, with the annual revenue about NT$3 billion to NT$4 billion. The organizational system consists of four major department: business, management, engineering affair and planning. The company is highly recognized in the industry with its high engineering quality. The company is certified with ISO 45001 occupational safety management system, and the praised by with awards from Taipei City Government, Kaohsiung City Government, Directorate General of Highways of MOTC and Construction and Planning Agency of MOI.

With the skilled technologies, and the resilience of the teams of Chun Yuan Steel Co., Ltd.. and Chun Yuan, the team has challenged countless “first” construction projects in Taiwan. For instance, the Macao Bridge is the first SRC arch bridge in Taiwan; the Second MacArthur Bridge is the first Neilson Arch type bridge in Taiwan; the Dazhi Bridge is the first rod-style cable-stayed bridge in Taiwan (as well as the steel bridge crossed the river by adopting the launching method); and the Wuxi Bridge is the first arch cable-stayed bridge in Taiwan.

In terms of geotechnology, the company has outstanding performance, too. For example, the “full casting” foundation plies with the depth of 90m and bore diameter larger than 1m (for constructing the Zhoumei Bridge, and the first in Taiwan); the “semi-full casting” foundation plies with the depth of 85m and bore diameter larger than 1m (for constructing the Dazhi Bridge, also the first in Taiwan); raft foundation chipped in a building for the 17m-high ceiling to construct foundation plies (Dixia Hall, Chinese Culture University), top-down construction method with a depth of 19m (Daan Data Center and Xianzhong Project of CHT), a plant-office build built on a weak foundation at a sandbar (construction of Kolin’s Sanchong Technology Building), among other project.

In terms of structural technologies, other than RC, SRC, SC structure, the steel decks and hollow slabs are also applied to bridge constructions, as well as other construction methods in constructions. For other projects, the dry constructed curtain walls are applied to electronics plants, GMP plants of food, chemical plants, arc-shaped gymnasium, and the newest materials and construction methods are also applied in the constructions in progress.
